• Custom-built hickory cabinets

• Square recess panel doors stained in Autumn Haze

• Solid surface countertops with an integrated double bowl sink

• Deep drawers for better storage.

• Microwave above built-in oven for ease of reach for both appliances.

• The original idea was to remove the entire wall between the kitchen and dining room, but a heating duct prevented this. The wall was opened as much as possible resulting in separate rooms with more open space.

• Changing the footprint allows more function and usable space.

• Removing a linen closet in the hall created room for a large refrigerator, a stream-lined wall, and work space.

• The use of lighter stained, custom hickory cabinets as well as larger drawers, and specialty storage make the kitchen practical, functional, and complimentary to the rest of the home.
